Thunderstorms possible tonight, turning colder by end of week

A band of heavy rain showers is possible tonight, with a possible rumble of thunder or an isolated brief lightning strike. After that, a cold front comes through tomorrow, which provides us another windy day here in the Northeast, like on Sunday. Between Sunday and Monday, there may be a winter storm, but it is really far out in the forecast period, so stay tuned for later forecasts as we get closer to Sunday and Monday. Thanks for checking in, and have a wonderful day!
