A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Fitchburg and Greenfield, MA metro areas. This includes areas west of Boston. Be on the lookout for freezing rain. Ice accumulations of a glaze expected. A winter weather advisory is also in effect for southern Vermont and eastern New York for the same reason.
