45 MPH Wind possible tomorrow, watching a potential winter storm Mon. Night-Tuesday and into Wed.

As a cold front passes us tomorrow, it will bring the threat of 30-45 MPH wind gusts, with isolated gusts exceeding 50 MPH. With that, there could be a wind advisory here in Southern New England. I think the isolated 50 MPH wind will occur in the higher elevations of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, and the Cape and Islands.

Regarding the potential winter storm Tuesday-Wednesday, I think the southern half of New England will see up to 2 inches in lower elevations, with up to 5 inches in the Berkshires. I think the northern half of New England will see a widespread 4-7 inches, with isolated 8-10 inch totals in the highest elevations. Thanks for checking in, and stay tuned for my next post!
